The heart of Vanguard

At the end of episode 3, Exiled gets put into the position where has to make a choice once more, after barely failing to escape the prison due to being surrounded by vanguard. And so, he was given two options: either die (or just be kept alive in even a worse prison), or join the vanguard.

Due to holding hopes of taking his revenge by getting into the trusted position inside vanguard and taking it out from the inside, Exiled agrees to join, albeit hesitantly.

Then, through the orientation process and all of that, Exiled learns of the basic processes inside the organisation, but keeps trying to dig deeper and find out about what is going on in the very centre, but he was quickly caught and brought to light by the leader/overseer of his branch who then proceeded to taunt him and reveal what he was looking for, even thought the answer was what exiled hoped for the least.
