By "Yin & Yang", is a sign of dualism and balancing, we all know the meaning. Knowing that the mysterious player (the voices in Exiled's head exist) exist in the series, it clicked something in my head.

As written in the episode's name, Exiled is trying to break out of the prison.

Then the mysterious player will keep appearing, giving Exiled decisions for him to choose, it could also force him into doing them.

Exiled would accept, but he also could refuse. He might remember what the mysterious player made him do and it resulted into being prisoned and getting in a lot of trouble. So Exiled might feel a little guilty/remorse and try not to repeat mistakes.

Basically balancing evil and kindness, his decisions might cause problems, and some my solve them.

He might fail, get locked up again for a longer time in prison. But he also could succeed and get out free, but he'll probably will be wanted dead or alive. Or possibly exiled, literally.
